In an effort to "save time and beat the traffic," billionaire real estate tycoon Niranjan Hiranandani forewent his opulent collection of vehicles on Friday and took the Mumbai local train instead. After he posted about his experience on Instagram, a video featuring the 73-year-old managing director and co-founder of the Hiranandani Group traveling in the local train went viral.

In the footage, Hiranandani was seen getting on the AC train from Mumbai that was going to Ulhasnagar, which is located in the Thane region of Maharashtra. As shown in the video, he spoke with passengers on the train.

He wrote, "A trip from Mumbai to Ulhasnagar in an AC coach was a thought-provoking personal experience. Saving Time and beating traffic with the City's Lifeline." as the Instagram post's caption. In the video, he also included the widely popular theme music from the recently released Animal film.

The video has received over four lakh likes and over 33.8 million views since it was posted.

While many people complimented him on taking public transportation in their comments on his post, others chastised him for taking the AC coach rather than the regular local.

"Believe that all of the nation's top corporate executives engage in this every day. There is a lot that can be done to reduce pollution and improve the nation's infrastructure. They are viewed as role models by young people," a user commented. "No match to Hiranandani... down to earth, everyone want to be associated," another commenter said.

Another person said, "Billionaires stay grounded."

A user, in the meantime, made fun of it by writing, "Rich people travel by train once in their lifetime and film it." Most likely things is that this comment got 21000+ likes.
