When a toe appears to have been sharpened to a point, there's something extremely aggressive about it. It was one of the most well-liked shapes of the spring/summer 2024 season, and it conveys danger, tenacity, and a headstrong attitude. Virtually every tentpole house included traditional versions of the design, including Prada, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, and Saint Laurent. Iterations included attention-grabbing embellishments and metallics with a high sheen. Mirror-like surfaces were favored at Versace, Alaïa, and Christian Louboutin, while features studded with crystals were shown at Chanel, Loewe, and Burberry. Like all great shoes, you find it unusual at first, but eventually you grow to adore it.
