Divya Pahuja: Who Was She? Daughter of a vegetable vendor and former girlfriend of the most wanted criminal in Gurugram

Divya Pahuja, who was charged with the murder of her ex-boyfriend and criminal Sandeep Gadoli, was shot and killed in a hotel in Gurugram, Haryana, a few months after being released from custody on bond. Divya (27), was shot in the head on Tuesday night by five individuals who brought her to a motel.

While putting her body in a car to be dumped, three of them were detained by the Haryana police. They are still looking for the other two.

Divya's body, which the accused reportedly disposed of, is the subject of a large manhunt as well.

Divya Pahuja: Who Was She?

Divya was a former model who came from Baldev Nagar in Gurugram. Her father sold fruits and vegetables. Her father has an unusual disability.

Her family consists of her parents and one younger sister. In 2018, Divya enrolled herself in a B.Com course. That was the approximate period that she began modeling. She did, however, eventually withdraw from the B.Com course from University.

When she was barely 18 years old in 2016, she started to have an association with the underworld.

She was the girlfriend of Sandeep Gadoli, the most wanted gangster in Gurugram, who was slain in a Haryana Police encounter in a Mumbai hotel in 2016. Later, after Gadoli's encounter came under investigation, Divya, her mother, and five police officers were taken into custody for allegedly disclosing the gangster's location.

In a story published by a news agency, the Mumbai Police said that Virendra Kumar, also known as Binder Gujjar, the leader of a rival gang, had plotted with Haryana Police officials to kill Gadoli.

Although Gujjar was incarcerated at the time of the encounter, he had conceived the plot with his brother Manoj's assistance and had used Divya as a scapegoat.

As part of the scheme, Mumbai police alleged that on February 7, 2016, Gadoli was slain in a fictitious encounter after being tricked into falling into a trap by his then-girlfriend Divya.

The Bombay High Court released Divya on bail in June 2023 following her seven-year incarceration.

The court granted her bail, citing her extended detention and the anticipated protracted trial as justifications.

On Tuesday night, five persons are said to have taken her to a hotel in Gurugram, where they allegedly shot her in the head.
